Ok I know some of you sharpen your squeegee's and get more miles down the road out of them, me I just replace the rubber (squeegee sharpener might be in my future), but anyway today I changed the rubber and thought about flipping the squeegee over and using the other side but it has those ridges in them from being clamped in the holder. Before I toss these would there be any problem using that side? I think my biggest problem is the look or could there be some damage there I don't notice from being clamped in on that side?

I do flip the squeegee over to get 2x the life. I have never had any issues. The "blade" is usually perfect. I have only had a few that were scuffed or nicked. i just throw those out and move on...

with our squeegee holders, the ridges are so thin they are not an issue. We always flip before replacing.
Try one and see what happens!

Speaking of sharpening, I have a diamond shortcut but can't seem to find a replacement wheel. Anyone have a source?
