Someone here posted a video on stretching Newman screens in like 2 minutes. There was a stretching table and after the desired tension, there was a trim and tape up.
I'd like to see the trim and tape up. Andy do you know who or where it was?
TIA

Not sure on that exact video yet here is a link to a ton of them.

Don't think it's there.
The one I'm looking for is from one of the faithful here doing it. I just cannot remember who it was.
I have my DIY stretching table and I just remember the taping off looked pretty simple.

I made a 10 minute video a few months ago.
The Shurloc guys tagged onto the end of the post with their 2 minute "put a panel in and stretch it" video.
It's on page two
My video covers the enitre start to finish with the 'trim and tape' you're looking for.
Just turn the sound off if you don't like the music.

That was it.
The trim and tape off seemed so methodical I wanted to study it.
Thanks John.

One question I've got: I noticed that you didn't measure off and add the mesh alignment clips near the corners before you started corner softening. Does this ever give you a problem with too much/too little softness in the corners once you hit the air switches? I ask because it's the corners that invariably tear when stretching bolt mesh no matter how closely I follow the manufacturer's softening instructions, which DO use the clips at the corners to prevent softening past the measured point of clip insertion. 30nm on 270/34 mesh is pretty damn tight, I gotta say.

The corner softening is a screen makers signature.
I should be using the clips in the corners but, I have a very delicate touch and after a few thousand black lines drawn on the corners, I didn't notice that much movement so I skip them now. I'll bring the camera to work and get some footy of the process to help with the visual.
