Title: Aren't there a few of y'all from Rochester here?
Post by: T Shirt1 on December 22, 2011, 08:30:52 AM
Al Jazeera news had a piece on US foreclosures and they interviewed a couple from ROC who have been effected by job loss.  They're about to lose their house.  Showed a demonstration outside the BOA building.  Earlier in the evening CBS did a piece on Countrywide Mortgage - Al Jazeera did pretty much the same thing except went to ROC and pointed out that BOA owned Countrywide. Either way Rochester wound up getting a LOT of international exposure from Al Jazeera last night.

Not NY, but fairly close. This dude may have set a new precedent:

Wow, he's a moron.  He needed an accountant...his house should be separate from his business assets, unless he signed a personal guarantee, which a lot of banks make you sign.

So instead of letting the bank recoup some of their money, he decided to ruin a perfectly good home.   Wow, talk about selfish.
