Well, she is in the book and a bit hard to explain. If you walk close and slow and look down carefully, you may see it on the
 sidewalk,
MY NAME is MOOGLE

She is a ghost with red hair and green eyes. A dangerous combination.

The house is haunted, but the not so good ones are gone. How did I know? Moogle and Presley are almost a century apart but closely intwined. I don't know how this all works, but it works fine. Thumper seems to be okay with it all. Then there all the others. Including Maralin.
