How many Husband and Wife run shops here?
My wife has been "employee of the month" for 87 consecutive months. It grants her the right to park her car in the garage.
We had to stop having potluck dinners, because she was the only one that ever brought a dish to share.

My fiancé helps out when she can. We toyed with the idea of her quitting her job and doing it full time. I can probably double the business having her there full time.

Not nearly as hectic as it would be with one son and two wives!  ;D

We are, my wife used to work here full time, but she now works from home.  HR, payroll, taxes, etc.  She comes in when we have overflow work.  We get along really well, so it works.

We aren't married but we've been together for 18 years. She does all the ordering/seps/digitizing. Generally its a very smooth situation.

My wife and I tried working together for about 6 days and almost killed each other.  Decided our marriage was more important.

My wife handles all the ordering, bookkeeping, sorting and customers. I handle everything else, but the artwork. Our full time artist (been with me for over a decade) will be going off in the next year to work with his wife at her graphics business (a whole other story, but a good one). So that will fall on my shoulders too. Been there before, wasn't fun, but I learned from it and won't even attempt to hire the position again. We'll do what we can and streamline.

Fell the pain, we have streamlined this position, scary but is working out for the better... good luck!

lol. Great decision my wife and I tryed that also and we decided on 1 day a week. Congrat's to those of you that have made it work as i can see how it could actually strengthen a relationship with the right people. Unfortunatly not for us.

Been married 50 years, 11 years doing screen printing together.  My wife does some of the grunt work, pulling off the auto, loading the manual, stacking and boxing, trimming out embroidery and counting.  She used to clean screens and such but health doesn't allow any more.  She stays away from chemicals.  I do all the rest.  When she's away it helps appreciate the things she does.
