Title: switch from air to electric print heads
Post by: Rockers on September 29, 2019, 08:21:54 PM
What kind of differences will I see in our daily operation , talk to me about improvements I might notice when doing this switch. On the table are either a Diamondback 10/12  with electric heads or a Sportsman 8/10.

From what I've heard and seen a very smoother print stroke and consistent print speed when with compare to the jerk style print you get from an airhead print which depends on the air pressure at that head which can drop off a bit once you turn more heads on where the electric will stay the same.  I'm all air so I know what that air head does LOL, the Anatol all electric was very smooth through the whole print stroke.

If it's the only press def go with the 10/12.  Sportsman is 'outdated' due to the new DB with electric heads.  Also assuming you are sticking to 23x31 screens?

I think one big thing is a bit more speed, more adjustable print area helps but the faster stroke itself is better.  More 1 stroke printing if you aren't doing all 1 stroke now?

After running a press with AC head you will never go back to air heads!
