Hey Guys & any Gals, My press keeps saying front proximity switch error (error 5).. I replace the front proximity switch on the head it says to.. reset and then it says it again on the next head, replace that one then it says on the next one... What's going on?? Is it because of lower air pressure? is it a leak somewhere? I thought it was the little battery behind the touch screen panel but nope same thing... Any suggestions before I call a tech... It's a Anatol trident...

The machine is looking for something it can't find. I may not be a prox but a bad wire or cable or plug. Could even be a loose connection or plug. Its not uncommon for a prox to go out but strange a bunch at the same time. They all have indicator lights, make sure the flags are close enough for the switch indicator light illuminates.

So it's not a air issue you think it's more a electrical issue?

what is your incoming air pressure? ours (a 10 color) likes about 110 psi, but will run on 100 or so
if you dont have enough air pressure (at least on ours with air heads) the cylinder dosent have enough air to reach the sensor before it times out. turn the speed up a bit on the print heads
set the outside flags closer to the center of the press
test the sensors by putting something metal near the end, the sensor should light up.
make sure the sensors are set correctly - sometimes the nut loosens up and the sensing distance increases

Zelko-4-EVA & Binkspot, Thanks for the input.. Found out that one of the MAC Solenoid Valves on head 2 is bad...Hopefully there a easy and quick find and not too expensive...
