So have been working on this for a while but with all my spare time ;) I decided to finish, I like everyone else hated the plastic carrier sheets on the triloc
which basically made it a second thought and not used, would only pull it out for simulated process.
I had seen others with there hacks on the alignment frame so I decided too go a bit further. A friend is a machinist and it was a simple job for him to create 3 blocks and
attach to a plate , I then used the three spring blocks from the frame and the best part is the new thin led light tables the job was pretty easy and my first job lined up perfect

dude i would kill for that setup. I've basically been putting the triloc pallet on my manual, lining the film directly on that using the center line (I have the older pallet), and then I carefully put the screen in place and rub the tape down so it sticks. It's not perfect but it beats using carrier sheets.

really is a junior guy type of a job at a machine shop and I used JB weld to hold the spring blocks in place, I can guarantee it is going to be used on all jobs now. It takes no longer than usual to attach the film to the screen
than it used to. Cost $300 in total with materials ( $200 metal machining/ $100 light table) .
What we will probably due is gang 1 colour jobs at the other end of screen as well.

SO NICE! LOVE THAT.

That's super slick. Looks cool to boot.
Do you have a link to the light panel by any chance? Never seen anything
like that before.

Similar (but nice!)r than what I did many years ago when the Tri-Loc came out. I have a vacuum frame large enough to do 5 23x31 frames at a time so I rigged a set up table off an old vacuum table. Even back in the old days, it saved a TON of time. I still can't understand why people buy them and don't use them. Well I know why a lot of times, but won't go there.
Very nice set up
