Looks really nice. Reminds me of Roq but I'm sure there are their differences.

It's like a ROQ and MHM had a baby.
I find it interesting that their global offerings are so drastically different than their US offerings.
Like the VictoryOne Chinese CNTOP press, when will we see these superior features on the Copperhead and VictoryOne make it to the US market presses?
-
Nice looking press..... can you buy one here in the states? The tri loc pallet looked interesting but really nice. From the first look 2 thumbs up on this one.....
-
It looks EXACTLY like the old Imaes(SP?) presses from Portugal, they were even blue. It's like they didn't even try to be original with this one or the VictoryOne. Is this one made in China also?

Made in Mumbai India

That press better be cheap. Otherwise I would not know why they made it in the first place.

You mind giving me a summery of what was said or which part of the interview actually relates to the M&R Global equipment and why India was chosen.
I rarely find the time between printing and spending time with my dog to watch as well long drawn out interviews.

if I am not wrong about the clip:
alot of Asian screen printers find the M&R press from USA an over kill. So they want to bring out a more "economical" press for the market.

You are correct!
Decision on manufacturing in India was decided well before Covid.
Reality is USA market hit critical mass in the USA few years ago, and sales growth in the USA
Have fallen big time. Southeast Asia is the worlds hottest growth market for the next number of years.
They realized this after ownership of company changed hands. Industry in the USA has enjoyed “brand”
As a cash cow. The rest of the world, will only pay so much for “brand” advantage only is worth so much,
Will copy it, improve it at lower cost. Simple economics! And now the “ Perfect Storm”. Rise of digital,
Covid, etc. Now it will be fast tracked in order to try to survive. IMHO they see growth in Asia, and can hold
On to sales in the USA/ Latin America under this new model. Difficult to do! There is now a “glut” of used and bank owned equipment, and will be for a long time, which is going to hurt “new” sales big time.
And the big reality, is transfer of this industries technology to other countries has already happened!
Only in the USA do you see, we only buy this or that “brand”. Rest of the world, is more interested in price, function. They match component to component, and function as most important. They also value simpicity.
For me, i will buy USA made products if possible. I also support “Buy Local”. Better for our communities.

You gotta laugh at this. ;D

So seeing this machine was driving me crazy because I KNEW I saw it somewhere. When India was brought up it all clicked. There WAS a company in India that made the exact same machine in orange, Grafica Flextronica. Well if you now try to go to the Grafica Flextronica web page it has been taken down and directs you to go to M & R Global... So M&R must of just bought them and changed the color! ;D
As of right now they haven't killed the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/graficaflextronica/ (https://www.facebook.com/graficaflextronica/)

Is that the same company that Andy Macdougall use to rep on his site?

Was he in like Ohio or something? They had 1 "dealer" in the states and I want to say it was in Ohio/Indiana area. I could be totally wrong though. Since M & R took their old website down you can't look it up anymore. If I have time later I'll look back through my old emails because I had talked with them once a long while back.

It is. I really liked the format of the flatstock machines they sold, would buy one if it were available stateside.

You'll be able to now, it will just be a different color now. Hopefully they will be able to support them stateside. I really liked their tag printers, but having no one stateside to help with them(the person I talked to here was less than comforting) I decided to pass.

Yeah it had the the whole frame go up and down instead of like the standard clamshell, if I remember correctly. Would have gone for one if I had been a bit more serious at the time.

We talking about the parallel lift machines, Jaguar or something?
I thought those were out of SA, though I suppose they have jaguars in India as well.

Sure they have Jaguars in India! They even assemble some of the XJ's and XS's there (albeit from British parts)

Andy I was dismayed to find that the first google results were for the automobile and not the animal.
But, WTH was Bagheera then?

Wasn't he a Black Panther?

The blue paint will make them probably more expensive too.
