Title: ROQ pallets-rubber or no rubber
Post by: Rockers on August 08, 2020, 10:55:05 PM
As we are getting closer to finalizing our ROQ auto package there is still one issue that I`m undecided on. The pallets, rubber or no rubber that is here the question. I can`t even remember when we printed the last time on pallets without rubber.

You don't really need rubber on honeycomb pallets. I would get a set if you are doing inline foil though.

We had no issue transitioning from rubber topped platens to honeycomb without.

Why the rubber for inline foil?

No rubber, honestly I didn't really know it was a option. The transition is minimal at best.

We are told you get better adhesion with rubber. I think that came from Danny. We sold the ROQs so we never got to test that but we do plan on doing foil inline with the MHM's.

Ah makes sense regarding the adhesion.
