Title: Brother GTX Pro, white/color alignment...
Post by: Mr Tees!! on November 10, 2020, 12:40:17 PM
...anyone have one of these machines yet, and experiencing this? We've had our installed barely a month and we have had serious issues keeping the white aligned to the color. At this point we can align and its out again within two or so shirts.

We haven't had any issues with it falling out of alignment, but certain jobs we are choking all the way up to like 4-5 to keep the base from peaking out. We normally choke at 3 and that generally works pretty well. If we are printing on a lighter colored garment we might bring it back to 2 if the outline is bad.

Are you sure the machine is actually losing alignment? Is the machine level and stationary?

could it be the shirt stretching? Can you post some pictures?

White ink shrinks towards the middle of the print as it dries.  So one pass print is going to be your friend.  Also we use 5 or 6 choke for most designs to help cover peeking unless the logo is really intricate in detail.
