Got a customer asking if we can do some personalization on nylon. Will only be a couple pieces so can vinyl be used? I have Siser easy weed.

You might be able to make regular EasyWeed work, but you really should use EasyWeed Extra. That is made for nylon.

I have never had luck with non-nylon stuff really staying put for the long run.

Ok maybe I wont take the job. I dont see buying a roll for a couple pieces. Thanks

You could look into getting it cut by Stahls or maybe even a member here.
Stahls offers this service, but with only two pieces, may not be a lot of profit margin.

I just found out that it may be alot of nylon gym bags so I may buy a roll or may try to print them. Are there special platens for bags or will a regular platen work?

Depending on the size of the imprint, and the size and shape of the printable area, you may want a kids or special small board. I have one that's about 7"square.
For that matter, I also have a heat press with an 8"x5" platen that also sees a lot of duty.
