Title: Printing on large mesh jerseys
Post by: Logoman on July 13, 2021, 01:21:15 PM
We are printing large open mesh jerseys. The mesh keeps filling in. How do you print these without filling in the mesh with ink?

First off, it may help folks to know what your present procedure is.
A pic showing the mesh and print could also help.

I would make two suggestions.

Make sure you have the right mesh and ink selected so you can sheer the ink on top of the jersey without driving it down.

That may not be possible, for whatever reason. So..

Put a transfer sheet on the pallet and below the printed area and flash your print before unload. If the ink filled the open area of the mesh jersey that extra ink SHOULD pop away with the transfer sheet.

When I used to print all those replicas for Nike and Starter I would run a higher mesh first than the lower second.
