Title: Screened transfers paper
Post by: Sbrem on July 22, 2021, 02:47:09 PM
So I find we're running low on transfer paper for screening. We don't do that much, but it's great for one color baseball hats and the like. When I say we don't do much, I bought 500 sheets in 2010, and now I'm getting low. It was UltraStrip 3000 and works well enough. But, since it's been so long, might anybody have a suggestion for another paper, or if the PET films would work better. Thanks in advance.

The used pet film for DTF works great, I used some of my old pet film just to see if it had more life and it does, and you know what, you can use it a few times if you can keep it wrinkle free.  Powder it up and it up run it through the dryer and it releases pretty darn good, better than my transfer paper LOL

That's a tad pricey compared to the paper, ain't it? Not that we do so much of it that the increase would be noticed...

I have used baking paper sold by food supply stores successfully.     For one color works well and is cheap.
