This is a very short vid tutorial for those who have had separations done on the outside (to a freelancer) or art house, and your original art given to them by the customer had a flat background on it. Maybe all that you might get back are the separations but you also need a merged version with no background. Let's assume you need to create an art proof on the garment you will be printing on.
I show you how to reengineer a sim process separations file back into an RGB file that can then be saved as a PNG. You then open your garment image and placed over the photo of a garment or multiple garments for art proofs/mock ups to the customer without a background.

Dan, that is just what I needed. I've had several times that the RGB Channels had been deleted and the customer wanted to see what it would look like on another garment. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get that to him.. Thanks for sharing.

I've always just deleted the background on the original RGB to make mockups easier, though I knew there was a better way, just too busy to work it out, and now I feel a little dumb, because there it is, not all that difficult. Thanks Dan...

Hey Dan this looks like it would work for a DTF halftone print since it's a png file, when you have time send me a file with a color halftone, I would like to see if I can print it out as a DTF, gonna try and fellow your vid and see if I can do this.

Not a problem. Will do this weekend. That is, how I needed up doing my DTG prints that I wanted to look like screen printing with halftones.
