Title: Printing on polyethylene or nylon
Post by: ThePrinter on June 08, 2022, 05:32:18 PM
I have a client that is looking to have drink pouches printed on either polyethylene or nylon beverage bags. Can someone point me in the right direction of an ink that would work with these materials? I have attached a picture of one of the bags (I believe this it the nylon bag).

Nylon ink for nylon bags or jackets, or anything nylon. That being said, Nylobond added to plastisol works. Test of course...

That particular nylon product does not look too compatible with heat which leaves air-dry. The go-to for odd(for us) substrate ink requirements has always been NazDar

That's what we use here, as well, and we've had solid success with it printing on flasks, skateboards, poly mailers, stickers, magnets, metal signs, and backpacks -- basically anything that we can't send down the dryer for one reason or another.
