I have this air leak and also seems to be spitting out an oily substance from the line (onto my finger) so it seems like maybe it’s supposed to be in there? I’d think not (in an air line). The nut seems to be tight. Can’t get it any tighter. So I would guess that I’d need a new O ring? Is this typical? To replace an O ring now and then?
Thoughts?

First thing yes you should have a little oil in your lines and if oil is just shooting out at that spot your getting to much oil from your oiler unit, you need to turn it down some, you only suppose to get one drop of oil for every 50 rounds or so ( your press is way bigger than mine so maybe a few more drops) second pull that air line off and cut a little off and push it back in, if that does not work replace the fitting. I had a fitting leaking the other day and I just cut the air line back a little and problem solved.

To find the source of the leak, I would first get all of that area on and around the stroke cylinder cleaned up. If it is where the line goes in the elbow, depress the orange ring and pull the line then reseat it. If that is not it replace the elbow. If it is in the threads of the elbow remove it and re-install with some fresh thread tape on the fitting. Hope this helps.

Just to add if cutting and reseating the hose does not help then replace the quick connect fitting, if it is an O ring type dont bother with thread tape, if it is a tapered fitting then thread tape is essential.
