Hey! Just checking in if I am missing anything these days. So our industry has traditional screen printing with various ink systems, DTG and now DTG with discharge inks (not sure how the print heads handle that unless you change the head weekly?), DTF either on a dedicated machine or a DTG like Brother, traditional transfers, transfers like Supacolor, new factoy line DTG like the Polaris and that new Brother system, and the Hybrid of screen print and DTG like the Digital Squeegee. Am I missing anything?
Is there anything out there that can do a full color painting sim process with half tone fade outs on a cotton shirt without a pretreatment but not the heavy hand of Transfers / DTF?

I think by far the biggest thing is the MidJourney AI art generation. It will have more significant impact than any new tech (at least short term).
Eric is working on streamlining the transfer application. I think that will be the next step in the industry.

I think the AI art generation is a mixed bag at this point. At the end of the day it depends on where the general public stands on things. FB and the Metaverse, anyone? Just my opinion.
Eric and the EastWest I fully support that's great. I'm just curious if I am missing out on anything else at the moment on the production floor side of things?

‘more of a half full then half empty. Probably closer to 3/4 full. Mj is very usable with just minimum training and SHOULD be in everybody’s toolbox already.

/ imagine.... all the trouble this is going to cause.... it's neat, but man I can see some real negatives coming from this...

It does indeed seem amazing, but this old boomer's spider sense is tingling like crazy. However it did with the introduction of digital tools as well, so maybe after time it will seem OK. A couple of artists I know hate it...

This works amazingly well. I've just tried 3 files that I paid to have vectorized and the results came out the same. I don't know what the cost will be after beta, but would've saved $30 bucks.

I just sent in a tricky one and I'm also surprised by the results, particularly the text. I wonder what they'll want for purchase or a subscription...

Same place that owns Vector Magic. There's too many others there to play with right now.
Curious on others thoughts of how this is going to play out for software such as Corel and Adobe?
These are just a taste of the AI apps out there now. I know Canva just did a big announcement over the weekend that's got Youtubers all riled up.
The landscape changes so fast that road maps made yesterday are obsolete the next day.
