Title: Recycle Inkjet-Film - is this a thing?

Hey,

was fooling around with IsoPropanol and had this idea:

Is this something somebody is actually doing? I mean film costs are not that high, but if you could recycle?

You're removing the coating that accepts ink. If you try and print it again expect a mess.

A+ for effort though.

I also thought that would be the problem, but look at the last picture.. printing on it is not super dense (might be the canon printer i used) but sharp and it still feels taky/sticky where i removed the ink..
