Title: Transfers on acrylic/wool blend hats?
Post by: rusty on May 22, 2024, 12:02:46 PM
Does anyone have experience or tips on heat pressing on hats that are 80% acrylic 20% wool?

Just did a test with a dtf transfer and its acceptable but you can still see the heat press marks. I am going to experiment with lowest heat I can get away with.

the logo and more important turnaround time doesnt allow for embroidery or anything else.

Thanks

I know arcylic beanies do not work with heat press patches...

Perhaps try the dtf transfers centered with excess film that will cover the rest of the hat? it would probably still leave marks but maybe not at all as bad.
