Enjoy it. A nice sunny day after a good snow is always pretty (at least here in upstate NY). You guys have to deal with more ice than we do.

the metro Atlanta area is funny that way. It's too warm to keep snow on the ground, but at night the temps dip back down into the 20s, so everything that melts during the day refreezes overnight.
Up until snowpocalypse in 2012 or whenever that was our county only had 1 salt truck. We certainly aren't rural. A portion of our county has an Atlanta address.
We now have those salt depots/domes off the highway now in a few spots.
this storm was strange because it completely missed the north part of atlanta. We got flurries.

Yep we still have snow on the ground here, since we live back off in a wooded area the snow is not melting, yesterday on our way home a semi had jack-knifed causing a 2 mile long traffic jam, and just this morning another one on the same highway. A truck behind us this morning hit a patch of ice and got sideways, I kept my eye on him just in case he hit a ditch, by Sunday they say we should be all clear as the temp gets back up in the high 50 to 65, this 20 degree night's ain't no joke here.
