I've always used digital decoration methods when they suited the job.
Vinyl, DTF, and inkjet transfers have fit the bill on a lot of jobs.
DTF, especially as an alternative to screen printing has really come in handy on smaller jobs when my inkjet transfers won't work. (I only use a material tyhat works well on white or very light)
However, just this week, I've had a few different potential customers just not understand the impracticality of screen printing on small jobs.
Of course, the actual minimums can vary with number of colors, but I had one guy who wanted a seven color job for 20 shirts and insisted that it be screen printed, no DTF
Then yesterday, a three color job on 8 shirts, same demand.
Sheesh!

Never underestimate the ability of people to be really dumb.

We just did 9 screens for 12 shirts.... He didn't want that "plastic heat sticker print"......no problem, to do that for 12 will be this much... They agreed and both parties were happy at the end of the deal.... I'll burn 12 screens for 1 shirt if you want, I don't give a rip.... just pay the bill.
I had 2 customers this week insist this same thing... With all these CriKet Karens roaming around me here, they saturated the market with DTF prints and people are starting to notice a difference. Some don't care, some do. I want the ones that do.

We have a customer now that ordered 25 shirts seven color print so we gave them the option of DTF pricing and Screenprint Pricing they went with DTF LOL
