Anyone have their equipment on vibration pads? Mainly thinking of compressor and dryer, maybe presses and emb machines.
Idea being to reduce any vibrational noise/feeling. Both are relatively quiet, (comp is rotary) but as I get older I appreciate quiet.
On the same note, what about embroidery room flooring? We've had both finished concrete and now commercial carpet. Carpet
definitely dampens noise but is a nightmare to cleanup threads, any kind of spinning vacuum doesn't stand a chance.

I use this attachment on my shopvac. The press area of the shop (roughly 18x40) is wall to wall low carpet on cement, it was a men's clothing store. Press, dryer and compressor all sit on it.

Machinery felt and adhesive, simple inexpensive solution. Use it to mount all kinds of machinery big and small.

Sick, thanks. I was looking at all the pre-made rubber options and hooo doggy is that a rabbit hole to go down.

Hahaa sooo funy! The noise of packiging tape guns always drove me nuts, thus the paper tape dispenser. Get the largest toilet bowl brush you can find, it picks up the tread on carplet like crazy. FYI, embroidery noise is no joke to your ears, my hearing is jacked from the countless hours behind a 12 head in small room. A few foam panels on walls and ceilng will help minimize sound as well.

Yea in back doing manual labor, bought this for my staff, they take turns passing it around on long days...no even pricey.
