Quote from Scott Adams - "your job is to find a better job"
My job is to finally actually retire! No website going on six months, and now I have to decide whether to keep my email and/or phone when we move this spring.

That will probably be the way it will go for me. The glory days are done, and I am tired of being crap on by "family based" companies, that do not have loyalty. I am sorry for the negative post....need to forgive and move on and find the Lord. All that said, I don't trust many people in the industry anymore. It's just not the same. Or perhaps I have changed as well. Its weird but no one recognizes the talent and artisanship any more. I may just work in the restaurant biz part time here, so I retract the relo offer unless it makes perfect sense. I am a pretty good cook. Bless you all

Tony, it's just not 1990 anymore. Sigh.

Thats for sure. Probably going next door to a meat and three and make breakfast and lunch. Then in the studio, walk the Beagle.

I think we all 60 plus are looking for a way out, last year was not a bad year but I can tell things are changing and changing faster than I like then to.

October 2025, after 37 years, I lit that bridge on fire. The fire was gone, those years became the past, there was no turning back. It was a good run.
Sometimes you gotta take that leap of Faith! Change course, change your life. That's what I did. Nowadays I can be found working the pits at one of our local BBQ establishments. Good luck to you all and may God Bless! #lifeisthepits
