Title: Quick White
Post by: Ragz13 on February 03, 2026, 09:37:39 AM
Has anyone had any problems with Quick White cracking? It`s been cured to 365 degrees and 50 seconds in the dryer. Stretch test is good also, but after 2 washes it`s cracking.

You took the ink film to 365?  How are you measuring that?  A donut probe?

It sounds like you are over curing it.  Aim for 320.

What dryer do you have? any chance the entrance / exit are cool spots and so you are missing a good % of curing time at that temperature?

mk162, Yes a donut probe. I took it up to 365 after I found out it was cracking. I was at 320 +/- a few.

Admiral, We have a Sprint 2000 dryer. The temperature fluxuates a little going down the dryer, but at 320-330 when it comes out.

You could be over flashing it on press, too. I had lots of dye migration issues from over heating with the flash.

365F for 50 seconds should not be undercuring on a 12' Sprint 2000, that is surprising.  Was it a t-shirt? Hoodie?

We run 380F for less time.  We do have a fleece setting too though...
