Should my discharge look like this? I can't tell if the ink is cracking or simply going with the flow of the fabric weave. The print is Union White Discharge as the base, plasticol on top.

If i am understanding correctly you ran a discharge base with a white plastisol overprint? if so, whats happening is the heat is making the plastisol way over cure and blow out..try running your discharge base with a 200(1 hard stroke) then just skinning it with a thin plastisol highlight thru a 230..then you should be able to adjust your dryer and completly avoid this. you just have way to much plastisol deposit it looks like.

I'm sorry, that post was a little confusing and the picture is too small to review the possible issue. The print consists of a discharge white as a base followed by a three color plasticol print on top. The base was on a 160 with heavy pressure and 70/90/70, top colors 230. My question referred to the print separating slightly when I pull the fabric apart, as if testing cured ink. Is this normal, or do we need to change something about or process do drive the discharge even further into the fabric?

the reason for that is penetration.more pressure will help that.alot depends on the garment also. different garments changes the variables. what kind of dicharge are you running? if its plasticharge? that product doesnt penetrate as well as 100% waterbase products and you will not get as soft of hand.
