So I quote a job for a church about 15% less then my usual price, I do this for most 501.3c organizations, anyway they write me asking if they are cheap shirts and they are worried that they wont last, they say ts just my low price that has them concerned, this was the 2nd email with this theme from them. I explain what I print on and offer to deliver a sample so they can see what my stuff looks like. I swear I will NEVER EVER lower my price for ANYONE again. I was not even low balling the job I would be making about 4 dollars a shirt profit on a 50 item order. Where is the love man, getting my b...s handed to me from a church wheres the love man.

Tell 'em it's a name brand shirt, then offer to jack up the price if it'll help make 'em think they're getting their money's worth. Sometimes people just won't let you do 'em a favor.

Tell em they are ring spun from the Shroud of Turin and they will last forever.

I was thinking of dropping the discount and letting them know I will happily match the highest quote

Just tell them to turn the other cheek :P
-
Turing the other cheek might get the Priest all worked up. :o
And yes I was raised Roman Catholic so I can bust a joke if I wanna ;D
-
Ha, Richard beat me too it. I was going to say "Which cheek?" ;D
-
I would tell them those are standard T-shirts for the industry, but that if they chose to you can upgrade them to ringspun in either the regular cut (beefy tee) or fashion fit (thinner and slimmer like a Anvil 980).

People don't value what they don't have to pay for.
Also, most non-profits have project budgets and many of the people who work in the higher offices of these places make the same huge salaries as private business managers. Churches don't have to pay taxes. Charge em all the same as everyone else.

Well meeting with them tonight almost feels like a pain to deal with now

I charge the crap out of them too. They are always unorganized, pushy, and provide crappy art. They get no favors and they are supposed to be paying sales tax for shirts anyways.
