what kind of film are you using?

Kodak non water proof , stuff I've been using for 2 1/2 years now thorugh the 1400 just fine but now issues with the r1800. Bought a bulk of rolls from a copy shop that's no longer, paid 20 bucks per 100" x 26 roll couldnt pass it up and it's been working great till now. Just figured maybe there are some setting I'm not seeing that I can tinker with?

I really doubt its your printer. I use 13x18  waterproof(whatever they call it)film from maverick graphic supply and have never had a issue. Its got to be a film problem, maybe the printer is not evenly feeding the slicker non waterproof thru? would you like me to ups you a few sheets to try or can you get something local?

Agree with Rick. Bet it is your film.  Call your normal supplier and or a new one and see if you can get a sample of another brand and test.

So you cut it up to size?
Are you keeping the grain of the film the same when you load your sheets. I use a 1800 with roll media and have no issues with film to film unless I print one film in page vs landscape.
