Title: .. I need some help with an AI file

I received two files from a customer that have an .ai extension. I get a "corrupt" dialog box when I try to open (Coreldraw/import) them. Might just be a problem with the fonts not being converted to curves.

I'd appreciate some help.... will someone try opening them with AI, for me ?
-OR-   if someone is willing to convert them to .cdr    I'd be happy to pay for that (PayPal).
