Title: lid opener
Post by: mooseman on February 29, 2012, 05:51:11 AM
Every time I have to open a gallon of emulsion i piss and moan because it is a PITA to grip the edge of the lid with my beat up fingers and pry each segment up.....bitch...piss......moan >:(
i finally got pissed off enough to adapt ...improvise and overcome the result is a simple plexi glass opener, it seems to work and added here in good faith. If you would like a PDF or CDR file send me a PM.

I scaled down the jpg and printed it out to size.

Thanks. Gonna make one of these. Gallon emulsion buckets, and the ones that my Matsui ink comes in are almost impossible to crack open. I've got a bucket opener for 5 gallon buckets, but it's too big. Channel-Lok pliers just tear the edges of the lid.
