Title: Typical USMC Font

Need a font ID from one of the experts -

Most USMC seem to have the same font - Just the 4 letters -

That is close but would have to stretch some of the letters. The top  bars of the "U" are really close together and the contour won't look the same b

Should be the same as Collegiate Black, the 4th one down on the first page of the link I posted.

The middle drop on the "M" is a bit lower than the picture on the website, but I think I'm going to go with the Collegiate-Black.

Unless you are trying to match that exact print for the same customer you should be fine. I have used that font for about 400 USMC designs over the past 10 years.
