Here's three new rat rod designs I just did for Andy's Tees. Drafted and designed in Illustrator, painted and sepped in Photoshop.

that's verrry nice!

They're all great, but I really like that top one. The "patina" on the sheet metal is excellent!
-
Looking great there.
Just a quick question, why you have all the cars and drop shadows outlined? Personal preference or a specific need for printing?

Thanks all!

Personal preference... I like the clean graphic look plus it makes the design flow better on black shirts. I drew little pinstripe graphics nested into the shadow forms of the original illustrations. I felt that they clashed with the backgrounds so I only kept them on the middle one.

+1 for that patina. Well on you sir.
Got a more zoomed out pic of that one for us?
-
Awesome job as usual. Can we get some print specs as well? Thanks again for sharing.
-
WOW! Awesome work.

That be Bitchin'' Love it.

To be honest, I hadn't noticed the outline around the cars and drop shadows, and it's something I would have instinctively avoided, but I have to say, it makes the cars really pop off the shirt. I'm surprised at how well it works, yet how unobtrusive it actually is. These are some of the best car illustrations I've seen. The rest of the graphics and verbiage don't overwhelm the cars as they often do on so many jobs, and your textures, attention to detail, and luscious chrome are just about without peer. My hat's off!
p.s. Just noticed the bluing on the pipes on cars 2 and 3 . . . who'd ever think to include that? Well done.

Very nice. If you get any better, I may have to start considering you "the competition"
-
NOICE! very nice!!
-
wow! :o

Thanks for all the great comments! We need to get more artists posting work here.
I'll get a better pic of the whole printed shirt today.
I don't have any specs beyond the PMS #s and print order in the original post. I usually just send a channel-sepped PSD.

Definitely.
I like the fact it keeps the design open for multiple backgrounds.
( and it's classic poster art, which is what we do, or should, more or less )
Design something for one specific shirt, and the customer will throw you a bad curve late in the game.
Nice work Z.
Always a pleasure viewing your stuff.
10+ colors with fine linescreen...I'll just keep 'dreaming' over here.
;)
Looks choice man.
Cheers.
