gonna go someday, but I can't really justify going anywhere at that time of year...

you say you cannot justify going that time of year?  I am curious to why?  I know you are into your business, but I find these are great networking and info gathering. 

I would love to hear your thoughts...I miss 1 day of work....but I plan for it...

I really wanted to go but I doubt I can trust my vehicle to drive that far yet, have a lot of work to get done around the engine.

We're always so slammed then, and just about always understaffed. We've spoken before about the difficulty of enough competent help, though right now, we have a good bunch. One of our artists left at the beginning of the year, after 11 years, and I'm doing the more difficult stuff, though April is doing great on the other work. She just doesn't know her way around PS that well, though she can paint and draw (and sculpt) to beat the band, I can't get her to try out my Wacom... But I would love to go (it's a big ol' candy store after all) and meet everyone. Maybe I should think about it more...

please do....also we have found it more PROFITABLE to use our artists to their strengths and sub out the high end or more complicated stuff....lets us work faster!....

would love to hang with you down there..

I'll be there Saturday. I was going to go sunday also, but none of my friends wanted to get a hotel and stay the night so I just decided to make it a day trip.

I'm there! arriving saturday around noon and staying the night at cesars...

so whats join on at night? or day? any beer flowing?
