Title: waiting for the electrician
Post by: beanie357 on March 07, 2012, 05:30:36 PM
Customers have really varied schedules. We started with short posted hours, but have come to realize there is business to be had by integrating with wacky customer schedules. Sitting here waiting for a largish deposit (whee), but chap was called into work and will run late. Our other plant runs 2 shifts, but I think we need some front line staff over here at Fat K scheduled later  to handle people who have become used to hours promogulated from the retail world. Case in point, we have a skate rink we did staff stuff for, and the guy doesn't even get up till 2-3pm, as he gets in at one am. Never thought this end of the biz would blossom if Walmart hours were kept. Had 4 pickups after 5, as thats when people become available.
Found this to be interesting. Will set skeds to staff this obvious business development need. Whats everyone else do?

BTW, the title came from an old comedy album "Radio Dinner"

10-6 is the posted here, though on occasion, and for certain clients, we'll deviate.

Otherwise I encourage and push and almost insist on UPS. I'd rather spend the $15-$30
than wait for some dude to find the damn place.

I'm available for pre-arranged "visits" from 8-9:30 am and 12-6 pm weekdays, and 12-5 pm Saturday. I'm just me, and need to know what to expect to be able to plan my work schedule.
