Not sure I understand the question. Are you trying to save as a jpg? File Save As Web... then reduce the quality/file size.

No Photoshop whiz but,
Can you add a background color or even shirt template as another layer.
Or, can you just take the design into Illy with a shirt template or background color and save as pdf or eps or jpg?
It will get read here, but maybe this would be better served in the Graphic Software section for Pphotoshop related questions
What do you think Dan? You're more of an expert in both fields.

I ended up getting it Frog... I had to go to edit bitmap and change the background color then export out of Corel... I usually just click on post I have not read.... ;D

In Photoshop, I would make a duplicate file, merge all the layers, and if it looks correct, save as a jpeg and send it off. Remember to make a duplicate, don't do this to the original...

Yerp.
Flatten the image, "save a copy" as .jpg.

Just saving the file as a JPEG should automatically save it flat. Make sure that colored background layer's visibility is turned on.
If you're looking at a spot channel file, you need to merge spot channels (in the palette menu) and then save as JPEG.
