Title: AmerGraph - FYI
Post by: Ron Pierson on April 10, 2012, 02:37:20 PM
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here. I have been trying to get bulbs for my Amergraph Advantage 150 imageburnner for a few days. I finally got through today and got 3 ordered. My supplier Dynamic Supply (good company) has been trying as well. It seems that they have gone out of business (or at least been taken over by another) according to Dynamic. I'll be looking for other brands to purchase rather than try to keep my old 150's working. Parts may be an issue. We have two 150's working two shifts and have booked over 13000 screens since January. Those machines were real good. I've had mine for years.

I can't believe that bulbs are so make and model specific that someone here can't steer you towards another as an alternative replacement.

Thanks for the info, I use one of those myself as well.  Guess its time to consider another brand.

Why?  that is a commercially available bulb.  cross reference the number, no biggie.

I called Amergraph Monday and had them email the user manual for the 755 i picked up.  no problem at all....as a matter of fact, I am ordering some other parts.

Need a bigger one anyway.  Thats why, id like to be able to do 2 at once or even have the dual trilock on it so when I go from 23x31s to 25x36's.

I thought being able to burn two screens at one time was great until I found out I could only wash one at a time.

darryl, you can use a dip tank for rinsing screens.  I will probably pick one up to do ours with.  I will set up a timer system so that the screens soak for the proper time before rinsing.

Update, I just talked to a very nice lady at Amergraph.  They are merging the companies.  HID is the same company, just a different division.  Everything is done under the HID name, but they still have the Amergraph website.

ordered a new bulb for our 755, along with a couple other parts...very nice people to work with

OK - cool. Merging rather than dying is a good thing. Glad to hear it.

very good thing.  I think the other end of their business is stronger, so they are going to keep everything under that umbrella

Does anyone have a current contact number for them - Amerigraph and HID?  We've tried the numbers on both web pages and the phone doesn't even ring.
For the Advantage 150 we need a K1 relay.  Ideas?

Thanks,
s

You guys should make sure to pass on the information that they are listing dead contact numbers on their website(s)

We just placed an order with them.  No problem - parts are on the way.  I have to admit that I'm not the one who got them on the phone though.......... and i don't know which number she used.  Maybe it was just me
