When doing t-shirts for a baseball team do you heat press the vinyl numbers first and then screen print the front graphic or vice versa?

we do the screening first then the numbers..

Thanks Sam, thats where I was leaning.

I print the shirt first and do numbers after. Its smarter to put the numbers on first then screen print. If you mess up a number (it happens) then you don't have to set up the job again.
Trick when putting numbers on. Hold the numbers up to a light and make sure they are right before laying them down on the shirt. I always have the number sheet with sizes taped to the heat press so you look at the number on the sheet then hold the numbers up to the light and make sure they are right. Then place them and heat press them. I get a little dyslexic when doing a lot of numbers so this process works great for me.

Numbers 2 and 5 are the trickiest lol.

I usually do the screen print first, but only if, as mentioned, it can stay set up just in case. The simpler the job, the less this is an issue, but not much is worse than printing two or more colors, tearing down, and then discovering a defect while putting on a number, and having to set up for that one. (hope you have enough screens to still have them around.)
On a team of twelve, you can forget about delivering short!
