Title: Sleeve pallets..i need one...how wide should I go?
Post by: Mark @ Hurricane Printing on April 27, 2012, 12:54:01 PM
I got an order to print on the right sleeve of a shirt sleeve tshirt...how wide of a board should I go with? I'm thinking 6"....which ever size I get it will be 22" long so that way I can do long sleeve if I ever get a long sleeve print job coming my way.

Anyway, is 6" good or shoudl I go smaller? wider?

PS: I have an M&R chamelon 8/8 so I'm buying straight from M&R unless someone has a used one they are willing to sell.

4" for the autos and one 6" for the manual in case someone wants something a little wider but the 6" doesn't get used very much.

they did say they want the sleeve image big ...its just the a word with a number at the end Control 4..and the 4 has a circle around it similar fantastic four superhero logo....so its not a huge print on the sleeve.

Mine are tapered, 5" on the side closer to the machine and 4" on the operator side.

We inventory 4", 5", and 6" wide by 22" Long. For short sleeve printing - I think a 5" is an excellent width for short sleeves. However - if you want a pallet that will allow you some other uses than the 4" wide will also afford you the ability to do long sleeves.

Speaking of sleeve pallets - Here's a new one that we hope you'll like. It's a Hinged Single Sleeve Pallet. It can print all sizes of long sleeves from adult extra large down to youth small. Hinged Single Sleeve Pallets eliminate the challenge of loading small sizes of long sleeves over bulk pallet locking assemblies. They are available for use on all manual and automatic machines. Starting at $265.
