Anyone out there have a barudan and run applique?
On my other machine brands I am able to have it stop after every color change.....I can't seem to find out on my own if I can do this on the barudan or not.....
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks,
Jon

Can you contact Barudan. They should be able to help you with instructions. Also, try to find Yahoo group for Barudan users.
Can you program the stops in the files before you send them to the machine?

That's the ticket. Stops should be in the digitizing. If you are not digitizing yourself,
request the stops from whoever is digitizing the design.

That's a bummer. I just doing some auto stitch #'s from Stahls...and they came on a pre-programed disk.
My other machine just allowed me to switch the color change off and I would physically have to hit the start button after the colors...and I was hoping this machine might have the same thing somewhere. I used to have the placement stitch one color and the zig-zag a different.
Oh well...

So I signed up for the yahoo group...but I still need to get approved.
Then I called Barudan...and a tech called me back.
Turns out I just have to make the 2nd color in the design (00) instead of a real color # and the machine stops at that point to allow me to lay down the applique.
Anyhow seems easy enough...just a little different than I'm used to.

Or simply run the design in teach mode it will stop every time.

yes that is the answer you just have to stack two of the same colors together and the machine will stop at the duplication of color .
There should also be a function for applique where the machine will stop and advance the pantograph out for you to comfortably add the applique. It is in the operating programming of any embroidery machine of quality and baurdan certainlly qualifies.
