That time of year again for the cars for case build. Here's the rough for the design. I'll post up as the build comes along. Waiting on approval on this before we move forward.

Nice. I like the layout so far. I like the perspective on the car also.

Looks like a good start did you spell your word wrong in the drawing or in your type Case/Casa

Thanks, no it's CASA. Court-Appointed Special Advocates.

Damn Chris, where the hell you been? Haven't seen or heard you around in a while. And BTW, nice work.

Hey Alan..just working. Running my shop and doing some consulting for a large shop in town a couple days a week.
Actually got an offer on my business a couple of weeks ago from a local guy, so I may be gone forever soon....lol.
;D
Hope y'all are doing well down there.

Good layout, and I like the car's perspective as well.
Everything ties together nicely and reads well.
Perhaps a more vertical orientation of CARS/CASA along
the arch once you move to software to make it even easier to read?
Cheers.

Dig the artwork.

yup, except the sparkles, they look too copy/paste, other than that, it's some sweet work
-
Thanks, and I typed it out wrong earlier. The highlight white will actually be 305, not 205.

I like it
nice one

Here's the print. Customer asked to make the blue a little more prominent.
There is a 10% black halftone to make the two reds, but it didn't really show up on the pic. I'll see if I can take a better one.

Nice job. Love the depth. Cool print!

Looks great. Might of come out a tad better with a darker shade % on that halftone black as you know. Instead of 10, maybe 15-20 with printing it as was. It was last right?
Another really good way to handle that is to print that read over top, knock out that halftone from the red by about 20% leaving it at 80% solid. You gotta allow for some black to come trough by printing that black halftone (far heavier than you have it now), under the red. Maybe a 30% halftone of black. ( I expect to use a little more of the darker color since it's going under. Boy, does that make a nice dark shade of red - not showing any halftones, (but it can get tricky). Too much can over power it and too little can obliterate it but can be outstanding if done right. I'm not suggestion you change anything at all. Looks great as it.

That was one of the first 2-3 shirts that came off the press. It actually darkened up a percent or two and was as close a match as it could get. I did run the black last and have done what you have suggested in the past. You're right it does look good, but there's just something about printing black last that cleans everything up. Like a highlight white does on many jobs.
Also should add all the art and seps was done in illy.

I take back my sparkle comment, that print looks better on the shirt.

Here's what it is looking like mid run. You can see it darkened up quite a bit.
