Just clicked on the impressions link and BAM!
http://www.impressionsmag.com/impressions/gallery/screenprinting/SCREEN-PRINTING-Spec-2473.shtml (http://www.impressionsmag.com/impressions/gallery/screenprinting/SCREEN-PRINTING-Spec-2473.shtml)
Now, while that is some impressive printing, once again, I can't see the separation program used for the seps on this? Any info on that? They never include the separation source. Ho Hum.
-
It looks like they used FastFilms. It must have been something from USSPI, that sep job is top notch, no humans can perform at that level.
-
I thought I read some where it was separated by Push Rod?
;D
-
I wish when they presented a gallery like that, they indicated the number of colours used....
-
I think much of the details of how it was done is done by the person who entered the information. Pierre @ Blue Moon has an 8 color press. I think his provided that info. Not sure. I know he used 7 colors on it. Actually 4 real colors and 3 whites.
One good thing is, that 2 out of the 6 on that link of award winners are customers of mine. ")
HAHA! PushRod. I haven't seen that name in along time. LOL. I miss him Why hasn't he became a member here?
Yea, that Blood Moon looks to have been done by a super human or a machine.
I see matteo studios included that they used Separation Studio. ::)
-
Ummmmm wasn't that from our friend Pierre?

I was gonna say that, as I already knew it was Dan's... I have one of those too, that Pierre sent me. 280 is one fine, fine grain size, spectacular print.

I have one of those shirts.......Yep, they are "ALL THAT....."
Good job Pierre - thanks for the visit (and the shirt)

The Bloodmoon shirt is impressive. I would guess it was printed with a 50% OEM stencil on the whites. Just guessing.

I got one of those bad boys in my closet.

Now there is name that I have not seen in a while.......LOL That guy is a you know what.
-
big deal...so a guy can throw some ink on a shirt...we can do that with our personally stretched wood frames with staples and emulsion from the hardware store....
But really..I have seen this print in person and wholly SH*T...Pierre does some phenomenal work....way to go and love to see people from the boards producing and showing off work like this.
