Title: Gas springs
Post by: Denis Kolar on July 13, 2012, 08:18:31 AM
I need the name of the US company that makes gas springs. I think it starts with H.

I want to replace gas springs on my Nuarc 40-1K and I was wandering if someone knows the specs on them (length open/close and weight requirement).
The current one I have on it (they are busted) is Suspa HQ-131_A but I can not cross reference it to anything they sell now (did send an email to them).
f I could find the specs, I could just go to the Auto Zone or somewhere else and get them in the store (Easy to return if they do not work).

Thanks a bunch

Gruden, you can get them on amazon.

OK, G and not the H. I was close.

Thanks Brad.

Do you know the specs by any chance? I know you had the same unit and that is why I'm asking.

I don't, but don't expect them to last long.  the glass is very heavy and wears those things out quickly.
