Hey gang,
I'm looking to invest in a small vinyl cutter. Something to be able to cut numbers, letters, etc to heat press on shirts. And also be able do do window lettering/decals, small signs, etc.
I'm looking for something relatively cheap so I can test these waters to see if it is a fit for my business. I was planning on getting a 24" plotter/cutter. I'd like to get in as cheap as possible, but do not want to waste a few hundred dollars on unusable garbage. I was considering the following two, anyone have any feedback on these? Is there a different brand I should consider? Is there something cheaper that I should consider?

It is an entry level, but you said that you are looking for that. The ones you have listed, are not really an "entry level" cutters :)

I have the expert 24 UT was a cheap machine to get me through a few orders, 3 years later still works great no issues and I run it straight from corel draw :))

How does the GCC compare to the Roland Or Graphtec I linked?
What makes the Roland and Graphtec better (assuming that they are)

Sign Warehouse sells either rebranded older models, or simply rebranded models of my cutter, which is a Graphtec CE-3000 60.

I know Graphtec has changed the model number since I bought mine, but this one looks EXACTLY like mine.
It's a few hundred cheaper. If you were interested, it might be worth a call to confirm.

I recently purchased the Roland GX24 and i had it now for about a month. It is so nice and easy to use i would highly recommend it to you. i purchased mine from
imprintables.com and they treated me great and were very knowledgable about the products they sold.

I run a GCC Expert 24 and a Cut-3000 (re-branded GCC Bengal).....
For 450.00 my Expert 24 has served me well for over 2 years and made me a pile of money.....I do not use it as much as the Cut-3000 because the Expert 24 is too noisy......
Do you need contour cutting?......If not and you have 1,000.00 spend my pick would be an Expert Pro....If you have less than 500.00 the Expert 24 will make you money until you can upgrade....If you have 2,200.00 take look at the Vinyl Express Q24 from Sign Warehouse......It is a re-branded FC Series Graphtec....

After working at a few shops that ran cheap noisy cutters, when it came time for me to make my purchase I went straight to the graphtec so I could be in the same room and/or on the phone while it ran, but yeah, it was also 3-4 times more expensive....
