Guess what Mr. you know who finally got his paws on a forum. Wonder if he will destroy it like all the rest he has been a part of.
-
sweet, anybody that owns shares now owns a part of you know who.
-
Wonder if he'll destroy it?
Umm... last I looked it was nothing but rubble as it was.
-
Seems that it was a good move on Preston's part since it was becoming a skeleton and the only one major contributor was "the buyer" anyways. Oh well, now Preston can focus on building up his Co with developing that quoting product.
We never wished Preston any ill will anyways. Twas a shame the whole thing was.
-
Yep Preston can move on good for him.
Maybe Johnny will pop in here again and get more active.
-
Oh I don't feel bad...we all warned him not to get involved....and now look at it...ghost town...
-
Good for him.... he sold something that isn't being used to a sucker. Place has been a ghost town for a long time. Like 3 moderators talking to each other. LOL.
Hope to see Johnny here...

Looks to me like a pile of crap sold to a pile of crap.

you know what pisses me off the most...everybody left and came over here, but did anybody tell me? No, just let me stay over there and talk to myself. @ssholes.
;)
-
Well, they tried to tell you... well, to tell you something in a sense. You just didn't get the hint. ;)
Maybe you guys have a soft spot for P but he burnt that bridge too many times... Not going to go into it here publicly but he got on the wrong side way too many times and KNEW he was wrong for it.

But he would NEVER admit that and you know it. LOL.

Brad, the powers that be there claimed that we did mass e-blasts and went out of our way to poach his peeps.
That's one of the reasons that I had the "How did you hear of us?" poll. Turns out that hardly anyone heard of us via a mass mailing.
In fact, anyone who hasn't participated in that are still encouraged to do so.

What other cool stories does he have to tell?

Brad, we were just trying to get a head start on the post count! It does not seem like it worked . . .
Dan and Frog, should we ban him so everybody else gets a chance to catch up? ;D

from what I understand, our stocks are going to be bought back. . .?

I would not bet on that if I was you!
-
So does "the one who shall not be named here" own or work for Garment Equipment? I didn't see his name on anything under contacts.
-
And you won't he is "behind the scenes" but is definitely there
-
Wait a sec, is Garment Equip, the site where it's just this weird copy/paste of other classified ads? I came across something like that a few weeks ago and was all "WTH is this? Why would anyone in their right mind do that if they aren't hired to broker the sale?" B/c there's nothing else on the site, so why bait someone there with copy/paste to a site full of nothing? What's the point?
I shook my head and went on with my google search but had this little pang of nausea that felt sort of familiar.
That would make perfect sense then.

1) Good for P... now he can move onto something else. He's the reason for this forum's existence.... ironically, this forum's success remains inversely proportional to his intentions.
2) I don't see Garment Equipment doing anything special and I'd be willing to bet a beer that SPOF goes nowhere fast too.
3) Anyway... we all know Johnny will be jones'n for some conversation. I look forward to him goof'n on here.
... ohh, and Oppan Gangnam style

But realistically TSPMB was the reason SPOF existed. So lets not give Preston too much credit. A monkey can install a forum. A tool can even adjust the time on site to make it look like 500 people were online..... Lmao.

I'm FREE
Andy taught me years ago to try to understand all things...so what is ... ohh, and Oppan Gangnam style...Northland?
This was really something to start the day off with.
It will be interesting to see what Jon does with the site.
You guys know how to make an old printer feel good with the welcome to come and post comments and I Thank You for them, and just so it is known I have nothing to do with SPOF any longer. And I'm going to leave it at that. I'm glad all that pressure is off Preston.
I really missed you guys, but before we get to lovie dovie...I did have a thing in the works with Tom Knight for the forum and him and I am taking it to a new site that I have had moth balled from the last time I almost started my own site...the t shirt forum.
It is just for the beginners like I try to help all the time. Tom will have lessons and will be running specials all the time.
Now back to here the shirt board, I look forward to being around and will not mention the other again.
So once again I'm just me...Johnny
Pierre congrats on the awards...super nice shirts.
And I look forward to talking to everyone again.

I tried to stay over there and help but it was a ghost town and I feel like you Johnny Free!!!!...I hope P the best.
Johnny how about a couple of your vids those things make my day, and I,m gonna miss my little section MOM & POP Shop :'(
Darryl
by the way I had some pretty good info on there wish I could bring it over here.
-
D, why don't you just start a Mom and Pop Shop topic here?
-
And a BBQ section. Thats what I am after....... ;D
-
For the time being at least, General Discussion Section will remain the place in which to discuss food, including BBQ, Vegetarianism, and Lactose Intolerance.
Probably shaved ice will pop up as well if Gilligan has his way.
-
i LIKE shaved ice 8)
-
I hate you Frog. ;)
-
Welcome home Killer. I could tell you really didn't like it over there anyway.
-
Thank You Scott.
It's good to have a place to be just one of the crowd.
Really diggin your site. And I still want that vet picture, just ain't made it there yet.
-
D, why don't you just start a Mom and Pop Shop topic here?
we'll see if the top 3 will let me, I'll be more than happy to, I thought I had some good topics and got some pretty good answers.

Dragging this back up.
Just wanted to hear if you share holders got paid? After all is that not the reason for owning a share? In fact being share holders shouldn't you fellows be privy to the sale price and conditions?
-
not yet, I was told it was happening sometime in 2013.
-
Ha. Well now, technically, I'd think you were right, but in reality, do we think it will happen? I doubt it. Not unless we made a stank about it and come to knock on his door. The only real gold within a forum is in the words of it's members. I imagine tho, if we were financially able to get our cut and it was surprisingly substantial, yes, I'd want my portion. It would be a surprising gift.
I had a relative pass away and we received letters that a few of us remaining were to get the remaining amount of the relatives money. Another relative quickly showed up in town to collect. She went to the deceased relatives house to get her share within days. Then found out that she needed to wait till more paper work went through. So she had to travel back 100 miles empty handed. A week later, her share came in. A check for $27.32 HAHAHA. I let the rest of the family keep mine.

You may be right Dan but if you own a share in something and it is sold, you being a part owner no matter how small the share means you are privy to the whole deal. That includes final sale price. I would think people would want to know what that sale price was, who knows being that Preston put a lot of work in the site behind the scenes with SEO and what not maybe the price is higher than one might think.
-
What a joke. LOL
-
So far one thing I've noticed he's done is harvested email addresses from the site and started spamming them.
I had already unsubscribed from his spam and then got some more... I double checked and realized he had picked a different email address of mine. I'm pretty certain he got it from SPOF.
What a tool.

You know, two can play at that game. You are smart enough to know that though. ;)
-
you guys really don't get it......the whole thing was an orchestrated to take advantage of a willing subject while driving the price down.
behold the king of an empty kingdom.
