Thinking about a larger monitor and was wondering what size monitor you all are working on.

The wife runs dual 23" samsungs... I have a 24".

I just don't like that the resolution is topping out... so more inches don't mean more pixels. :(

a 21 and 19 dual here.  I will probably switch to dual 21 ips...eventually.

Just bought a new 23 for the art room...sweet.

Dual IPS 30 inch here.  Shelly and Erik use Dual IPS 27's.  They are higher res 2560x1600 and 2560x1440.  HP makes them.  ZR Series.  REALLY nice if you do a lot of design work.  Screen rel-estate is awesome with the higher pixel count!

Over kill though if you are just doing invoicing and web stuff I would say.

...I am using a 32" lcd TV from Best Buy, it has a VGA input and works fine for me. It was like $220. I notice none of you do this, and now I am concerned a bit. Is there a reason NOT to use a TV? It seemed like, in terms of bang-for-buck, the best solution... ???

Poor resolution for such a large display.  But works just fine.  I used a 40 inch tv as a monitor for awhile it worked fine other than wearing it out faster than I think it would have normally wore out.

I hooked up the old flat screen tv, 55", to my computer as a joke a few weeks ago to see if could get some laughs.  I used it all morning and it was ridiculously awesome.  I use that old tv for the class presentation but the color on it is terrible since its so old.  Our artist has twin 20-something's but I don't really pay attention to that stuff.  My monitor gets used to read forums and run shopworks so I don't even know the size of it.

I was a designer for years and never had anything bigger than a 20 inch. Not even wide screen. I still just have a 20 inch. I guess you can say everything else gets the money.
