HWY (How would you) print below.
It is three colors not counting a hi-lite white. Printing it on black and on safety green. More concerned with the black shirts.
Would you use a percentage white underbase and a black percentage to get the treys? Or would you use a solid white base and just a percentage black? Or third possibility just a percentage white only?
I hate these jobs, it would be easy to just slap in two or three more screens for the greys but no one will pay for it, so its a toss up of what way will work best.

I would do Black, white, grey & red and charge as a 4 color job. same art on all shirt colors is the main goal for me.

throw in a white ub as well.
Sometimes, if the quantity can lessen the pain, I'll eat extra set-ups that in the end, make it better for me. I'm sure that you've done that as well.

I,m with Homer, if the order is large enough I would toss in an extra color cuz trying to blend that black to get those shades would be hard, not impossible but hard to do...blending black and grey would help you out big time.

Andy was using two whites, one UB and one hi lite. But I think I have a solution, use russel grey as the underbase and the lighter treys, then halftone some of the black for the darker greys. Or go Homers route.

percentage white underbase and a black percentage
This. But I think it'd be a pain without a fourth color. Add Grey as a 4th and use it as the ub. I might even comp that color if I had to, in fact, yep I would.
If not, you'll need to PFP that white and I fear you won't get the opacity you need and hold the dots you'll need for the % underlay to make it look tight.
