Opinions on New Brother gt-381 (4 head white version) vs M&R 4100 or ???. Good and the bad. Which is better you think and why.
Thanks,

For me it's easy...Brother all the way. The M&R machines are based on Epsons. I wouldn't go with a DTG machine that uses epson heads, they are really too small for the white particles, also, the Brother was designed to print white, the M&R isn't.
Just my take. Also, I have run a Brother gt541 for over 7 years now, and before that we ran a beta machine from them...I have had about 1 or 2 days downtime in 10 years of printing...show me another machine that is that reliable.

Are you thinking of going with a new one soon? I would like to find feedback for the new ones printing white ink.

Thanks so far for replies. I do know understand about the heads. I am looking at a dtg printer with white but the GT-381 is so new looking for opinions or observations. Good or bad on either.
Trying to make informed decision.
Thanks,
Shane

I would check with people who run the GT-782, brother should provide a list of names for people somewhat close to you. You can call and ask them.
The Brother machines have all been pretty darn reliable. I think M&R is the only company left using epson heads, the rest have moved to a different platform.
