Title: Discharge tip and rough Day!!!
Post by: 3Deep on November 06, 2012, 01:06:07 PM
Yesterday started out rough first we started a discharge job left chest and back print, printed a few shirts and found a word spelled wrong, one letter, been regular plastisol could,ve blown it out, so we stop that job and move to another just a little over halfway through that job the press goes ape sh!$t air line burst.  Now to my tip on discharge ink I closed it up in a container and put in the Frig and this morning it still discharged, so I,m thinking if you do that you can get a little more life out of it by tossing it in the refrigerator.

With my first test of Matsui's discharge, after testing, I put the ink outside in an open trailer to keep the smell outside. For the hell of it, the next night I was fiddling around and threw some of that ink onto a screen, and it discharged just as well as the night before. I don't know if I'd make a habit of assuming discharge ink would last past the suggested usage window, but it seems they hold out longer than generally advertised.
