I just wanted to share my idea for a cheap storage solution. (Maybe it was done before)
2x4, 5/8" wood dowels and a drill with a 5/8 wood bit is all you need.
I have build this for my heat press vinyl.
For a regular sign vinyl I would probably use thicker dowels (10 yard rolls) and I will not use this for a 50 yard rolls of a sign vinyl.
Hope it helps someone with getting their rolls in order :)

I've got a Vietnamese booby trap looking thing that I had my guy build (not unlike yours, just holds about 36 or so and made out of PVC)... my issue is the 50 yard rolls. LOL
What are you doing for the 50Y rolls?

This was just a test, I will build a bigger one.
I'm building one for 50 yard rolls, i will post when done.

I could make mine work with 50 yard rolls... I'd just have to anticipate the bend and stick wooden dowels in the pvc pipe to strengthen them up... and it still makes me nervous.

I use 6" PVC pipe. Glue them together in Triangles (6 pieces) and then I can stack them in different ways.

Love the Pipe idea - Guess what my vacation project is going to be?

Here are some racks for my vinyl.
Due to the available room, I had to put the vertical rack behind the cutter. Being 6'6" helps, I just lean over it to reach the bottom rolls.
I was gonna use these for 50 yard rolls and other ones and heat vinyl I will hang on the wood dowels.

Lol, I have a sticker on my Graphtech for cutting pressures in the exact same spot you do. Great minds......... ;D
