I know..... cheesy. But it was fun I have to admit.
-
Sweeeeet! Nicolas Cage's face would look great on him as well! Sorry - just saw that aweful GhostRider movie hahahaha
-
Nicely done. Looks like it could print well. Hey, we gotta do what we gotta do. Doesn't look THAT cheesy. ;)

That hourglass looks like it's really swingin' off the handlebars. Very nicely done. No need to apologize for artwork rendered that well.

Thank you all. My best efforts are cars and wildlife. Someone wanted this and I said "Why Not?"

Right. I was ready to order an XL, lol.

You nailed it for sure with "Truck Stop art" and Truckers love it. Very nice job on the art it would make for a fun print.
-
I love that kind of stuff!
How many colors to print that and keep it awesome?
-
8 or less. That's my clients. If I had a press, I would dial this job in just for kicks and grins! Being a freelance artist these days..... I miss the printing process. Who doesn't love a bad ass black shirt print?
-
That is great.
-
screenxpress..... 1 xl...... who's next?
-
You call it truck stop art.... I have another name for it.

Einstein: "The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources." :)
We all gather inspiration from somewhere. I think taking an idea or visual element and improving on it through your own creativity would be far more desirable than taking credit for a cut and paste of others' work.
Hell I just cut and pasted a quote from the internet, but I didn't represent it as my own.
Look at the inspiration piece and ask yourself "what makes this work"?
What do I like about it and why.
What could I do that may make it better.
Wesdeselms obviously has some decent editing skills, I just think they could be put to better use. :D
There is no good feeling that comes from representing others work as your own...you may fool some people but you will always know the truth. ;)
Now I will get off of my soapbox and go back to tracing other peoples' photos of cars. ???
